THE NX DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

 

The new Lexus NX marks the beginning of a significant evolution of how vehicles look while remaining true to the core philosophy of applying leading-edge design and technology, with finesse. The avant garde image of the original NX remains, but the design has been further refined for a more mature and sophisticated impression. The dynamic and agile proportion of the car heightens emotions while functional beauty ensures striking looks also enhance the Lexus Driving Signature of comfort with steering stability, throttle and braking performance.

A BOLD ENTRANCE

Excitement comes immediately with the new Lexus NX. A tighter, more compact grille has been developed emphasising the car’s dynamism. Slender U-shaped components were sculpted for an intriguing mesh pattern. Exquisitely crafted L-shaped Daytime Running Lights combine with a single Bi-Beam LED unit, for a sharp, simple look. Stunning 3-projector quadruple LED headlights feature a black surround that convey true distinctiveness.

STRIKING FEATURES

The one-piece rear combination light has an advanced design that is not only eye-catching but also aerodynamically efficient. Fins are integrated into the light to reduce air pressure changes, contributing to the excellent driving stability. With its wrap-around styling, the Lexus rear skirt extends the depth of the rear bumper to establish a dynamic, sporty appearance.

BRAVE DESIGN

Contrasting elements are combined to give the design a different impression from every angle. Skillfully crafted character lines and the elongated ‘sports car’-like bonnet means the athletic new Lexus NX exudes an undeniably assured presence, in keeping with its exclusive pedigree. Whether parked or in action you will feel the confidence and sophistication of a car with truly striking looks.

CONNECTED TO THE ROAD

The flared wheel arches are able to house larger tyres – up to 20 inches in diameter. The black mirror chrome finish and high performance 10-spoke design create an unmistakable look of urban sophistication.
