- the vehicle is fully immobilised, and you have checked the safety of the vehicle’s surroundings. Ensure that there are no people or animals inside the vehicle.
- the hood is closed, and the vehicle is not parked indoors without ventilation.
- you are respectful of the environment and minimise any excessive noise or air pollution. Use Remote control services only when necessary.
- you respect the local and national laws which could restrict the use of these services in your area (for example: in some regions this service may be reserved to electric vehicles or to private roads).
5. Due to possible limits with the car’s antenna and signal strength (especially if obstacles block the way) some Smart Digital Key functionalities may not always work as expected. These can include unlocking, locking, and starting the car.
We always recommend carrying the phone in your hand for unlocking and locking your vehicle and to place your smartphone on the centre console or wireless charger in order to start the vehicle.
We recommend having your physical key available as a backup where possible.
