This feature uses advanced sensors that detect significant impacts. Toyota Motor Europe will be notified if a collision surpasses a predefined severity threshold.
In the event of an accident, key crash details may be shared with your local Lexus network, who may proactively reach out to offer support based on the severity and local policies. The Lexus network (NMSCs or retailer) will use the contact information from your Lexus Link+ account and, if necessary, notify your designated emergency contacts indicated in the Lexus Link+ App. You and your contacts always have the choice to accept or decline assistance.
Easily access a complete record of detected incidents within the app, including crash location and severity. You can also upload personal notes and photos for reference or sharing via email.
Please note that while we aim to enhance your safety, we cannot guarantee the availability or quality of emergency services. Neither Lexus nor the retailer are responsible for delays, errors, or failure to contact emergency service responders.
Additionally, if you deactivate the sharing of your geolocation data for your vehicle, we will be unable to locate it in the event of a crash.
Please be aware that the mandatory emergency call functionality will be activated in certain circumstances.
Please note that your vehicle will automatically notify emergency services in the country where it is located if a crash occurs that triggers airbag deployment.
